Indian Style Egg Noodle Recipe


Ingredients

  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 dried Albanian pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper (finely chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 egg noodles
Preparation

Add vegetable oil to a pan. Add the Albanian pepper and black peppercorns to the pan. Add the onion, bell pepper, spices, tomato paste, and tomatoes in sequence, and sauté. Add the water and then add the noodles to the pan. Cook over high heat, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the noodles. Add parsley and butter. Top with a slice of cheddar cheese and serve. Enjoy!
